  2. Join a League: Create your own league and invite friends, or join one of our public leagues.
  3. Draft Your Team: Select real NBA players to build your fantasy roster.
  4. Set Your Lineup: Choose which players to start for each game day.
  5. Score Points: Earn points based on your players’ real-game performances.

Types of Leagues

Season-Long Leagues

The traditional fantasy format where you manage your team throughout the entire NBA season. You’ll draft players at the beginning of the season and make roster moves as needed.

Daily Fantasy

Select a new team every day within a salary cap. This format allows for more frequent play and immediate results.

Head-to-Head

Compete directly against another fantasy manager each week, with the team earning more points winning the matchup.

Rotisserie (Roto)

Teams are ranked in statistical categories, and points are awarded based on these rankings. The team with the most total points wins.

Draft Strategies

Drafting the right players is crucial to fantasy success. Here are some strategies to consider:

  • Best Player Available: Simply draft the best player available regardless of position.
  • Position Scarcity: Focus on positions with fewer elite options first.
  • Category Specialization: Build your team around specific statistical categories.
  • Balanced Approach: Create a well-rounded team that can compete in all statistical categories.

Our coaches recommend a balanced approach for beginners, while more experienced players might benefit from category specialization strategies.

Advanced Tips

Take your fantasy basketball game to the next level with these advanced tips:

  • Monitor Injury Reports: Stay updated on player injuries to avoid starting inactive players.
  • Analyze Matchups: Some players perform better against certain teams. Use our matchup analysis tools.
  • Consider Schedule: Teams with more games in a week give you more opportunities to score points.
  • Watch for Hot Streaks: Add players who are performing well recently.
  • Utilize the Waiver Wire: Don’t hesitate to drop underperforming players for promising free agents.
